Here Are The Sales Projections For Gucci Mane's "Everybody Looking"

How much does Gucci's comeback measure up to in sales? Gucci Mane has Everybody Looking with the release of his new album, but does he have everybody buying? Judging by the initial sales projections, he's got a fairly solid number of spectators opening their wallets. According to Hits Daily Double, Guwop is set to move 69,000-74,000 units of his new album, including streams, making it 45-50,000 in pure sales. These days, that's certainly nothing to scoff at. It's within the same ballpark of his 2009 album, The State Vs. Radric Davis, which sold 89,000 first week (which, to be fair, was before streaming came into the equation). It's expected to debut at #2 behind (you guessed it) Drake's VIEWS. Of course, we won't have any official figure until later in the week, so if you're looking for Wop to do numbers this week, make sure to grab the LP on iTunes.

New York Knicks Sign Amar'e Stoudemire So He Can Retire As A Knick

"Once a Knick always a Knick" The New York Knicks have officially signed Amar'e Stoudemire, but only as a technicality so that he could retire as a member of the Knicks. Not the Phoenix Suns, the team that he was with for his first 8 seasons and experienced the best years of his career with. The New York Knicks. The six-time All Star (five of which were as a member of the Suns) made the announcement today in which he said his heart has remained in the Big Apple and proclaimed, "Once a Knick, always a Knick." Stoudemire played a crucial role in bringing the Knicks somewhat into relevance back in 2010 which led to them landing Carmelo Anthony via trade, but there's no denying that this is a very bizarre scenario considering most remember his best years as a dominant force for the Phoenix Suns.

Tink Reveals Cover Art For "Winter's Diary 4" Mixtape

Tink reveals she's working on "Winter's Diary 4." Tink has been relatively quiet this summer, save for her single with Jahlil Beats, "Count It Up," we haven't heard from the talented singer-slash-rapper very much. It looks like that's because she's been working on something-- a new mixtape for her Winter Diary series. The series might be cold weather-themed, but the last installment, Winter's Diary 3, impacted last summer. There's no release date announced yet for Winter's Diary 4, although Tink did hashtag "August" on Instagram, so we can assume it'll arrive that month. She also unveiled the artwork with her announcement tweet. The Timbaland co-signed artist wrote on twitter, "Winter's Diary 4 is on the way. #Therapy."

The Memes From Joe Budden's Car Chase Are Hilarious

Joe Budden is a meme now. A pack of young Drake fans decided it would be funny to "pull up" on Joe Budden at his house Sunday and film the encounter on social media. Budden reacted by initiating a wild car chase after the kids and, once he had caught up to them, got out and menaced them at their car while clutching a handful of rocks. Naturally, the internet has collectively meme-ified this ridiculous turn of events. Joe Budden is now, among other things, an Olympic sprinter, a character in GTA, and the dude from Temple Run.

Dr. Dre Handcuffed Outside Of His Malibu Home

Dr. Dre was put in cuffs outside of his home in Malibu. Dre's sources say he was the target of a racist man attempting to pin a gun charge on him. Dr. Dre was cuffed and searched outside of his own house in Malibu earlier today, reports TMZ. Police were called to the scene by a driver who had stopped in front of Dre's house, resulting in a heated altercation. According to sources close to Dre, the Compton mogul had driven up to his home to find another car blocking his driveway. He asked the driver to move, and he did so, but Dre's sources say that the man proceeded to curse out Dre while he was pulling into his own driveway. They say he continued to harass Dre, prompting the Aftermath boss to pull out his phone to record the dispute. The driver apparently thought Dre was carrying a gun, and he reportedly said, "Here we go again, another black guy with a gun." Again, this is all coming from a source connected with the veteran musician, but perhaps Dre's footage will confirm what happened. Upon accusing Dre of having a gun, the loitering driver called the cops, who showed up at the scene to put the hip-hop legend in cuffs and search him for a weapon. The police uncuffed him after finding nothing on his person, but the accuser was adamant that they stay put, and he reportedly demanded that he be able to carry out a citizen's arrest against Dre

Did Drake Take Shots At Tory Lanez On His "Summer Sixteen" Tour?

Kicking off the "Summer Sixteen" Tour, Drake wastes little time in sending some shots at Tory Lanez. There looks to be a new chapter in the on-going feud between Toronto artists Drake & Tory Lanez. On Wednesday night, Drake’s “Summer Sixteen” Tour rolled into Austin, Texas, where the 6 God wasted little time in sending some subtle shots jabs at what people are believing is aimed at Tory Lanez. To kick off the show, Drake performed his hit song “Summer Sixteen,” and decided to slightly alter the opening lyrics to his verse, rapping “All you boys doing fake controllas wanna be me a little?" While the lyrics could be intended for Tyga, who recently released a “1 Of 1” song that sounds eerily similar to “Controlla,” it’s safe to say that’s not the case, and Drizzy had Tory on his mind when switching things up. Coincidentally, Tory just so happened to release a new remix over Drake’s “Controlla” a couple weeks ago, which has been receiving good feedback from fans. Add that to their already previous issues and you have yourself the latest chapter in the "New Toronto" saga.

From what we can see, the upcoming video looks to feature a lot of art, gold, cash, jewelry, and even zebras for that matter. Joe Budden Responds To Drake's Diss On French Montana's "No Shopping"

Joe Budden hits Drake with a crying Jordan meme after hearing the OVO boss' diss on French Montana's new single, "No Shopping." As promised, tonight's episode of OVO Sound Radio included the premiere of French Montana's new Drake-featuring single: "No Shopping." News of the collab first broke in May, when French Montana shared a brief snippet of the song, during which Drake can be heard beginning his verse by rapping, "Pump, pump it up." The line was presumed to be a shot at Joe Budden, who had recently given VIEWS a decidedly negative review on his podcast. Now that the full version of "No Shopping" is here, it's clear that the "Pump It Up" reference was no accident. Much of Drake's verse is directed at Budden, whom he denounces as a one-hit wonder. "You let me turn into the n*gga that you almost was," he raps. Drake doesn't mention Budden by name until toward the end of his verse, when he raps, "Last week, Budden runnin' in the room / This week sold 1.2." See the full lyrics of Drake's "No Shopping" verse at the bottom of the page. Judging by his recent tweets and retweets, Budden has heard "No Shopping," and he has already proclaimed himself to be the victor of the beef, clearly feeling that Drake's bars on the new French Montana single don't stand up to the two diss tracks he has already put out, starting at the end of last month with "Making a Murderer" and then another one, "Wake," less than a week later. Budden provided his first response to "No Shopping" by retweeting an image of a drained iPhone battery, suggesting that Drake's latest raps are the opposite of "Charged Up." He then posted another meme -- not exactly a creative one, but a successful effort nonetheless -- showing the crying Jordan face pasted onto the head of the OVO owl. Budden has since responded to a few of his followers who also agreed that Drake's "No Shopping" response was lackluster.

Fat Joe, Remy Ma & French Montana Have Another Single Coming

"All The Way Up" was just the beginning. Fat Joe and Remy Ma's "All The Way Up" is the surprise hit of the summer; a smash single that is both rooted in New York's history, and in touch with the current rap landscape. The French Montana-assisted track is still everywhere, particularly in NY, but Fat Joe has revealed in a new interview that he and Remy will be taking the same formula to the follow-up next month. "New single August 1st. It's called 'Looks Like I'm Cooking'. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Me, Remy, and French," he said. "We going out to Dubai to shoot the video next week. We're gonna be acting real ignorant in the desert, and look for some white tigers." The single, of course, is slated for Joe and Remy's upcoming collaborative album, Plata o Plomo, which should be on its way soon.

Kim Kardashian Calls Out Taylor Swift For Lying About "Famous" Lyrics

Kim Kardashian goes for Taylor Swift's neck in a new clip taken from a future episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." It took Taylor Swift a few years to forgive Kanye West after he famously mortified her at the 2009 VMAs, but until recently, it was thought that they were the best of friends. That was until Kanye released The Life of Pablo and namedropped Taylor on the lead single, "Famous," in a manner that many took to be offensive: "For all my Southside n*ggas that know me best / I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous. Those are Ye's opening lines on the Rihanna-featuring single, and soon after they made headlines, he found himself back out of favor with America's favorite sweetheart. A few months ago, Ye admitted that the lyrics in question helped him emerge victorious in a long-winded bout with writer's block, though as the saga involving him, Taylor, and now his wife continues, he must be asking himself if asserting his sexual prowess over the pop luminary was really worth it. Of course, Kanye doesn't think he did anything wrong by mentioning Taylor in the vulgar lyric, just as he saw it necessary to include her naked likeness in a bed next to him, his wife, and a host of other nude celebrities in the new "Famous" video, which Taylor was supposedly "horrified" to see. Taylor's horror seems understandable, but Kanye (and Kim) don't feel that her reaction is authentic because they are still maintaining that she approved of the lyrics that fornicated her and Kanye in the first place. In her recent GQ cover story, Kim called out Taylor for "playing the victim," and she specifically took issue with Taylor's Album of the Year acceptance speech at this year's Grammys, during which she implicated Kanye as representative of a male-dominated industry that tries to crush the achievements of young women. Kim told the magazine that there's video evidence of Taylor approving of the infamous "Famous" lyric, and she disclosed that Taylor's lawyers had contacted Kanye in an effort to destroy said footage. Today, it has been revealed that Kim will elaborate on the "Famous" controversy on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." In a clip taken from an upcoming episode, Kim explains to Kourtney why she's defending Kanye against his blonde rival. She says that Taylor was supposed to use the Grammys as an opportunity to surprise the media by letting them know that she had cosigned "Famous" before its release, and she quotes Taylor as having said, "As soon as I get on that Grammy red carpet, I'm gonna tell all the press, like, 'I was in on it.'" "At this point, I really don't give a fuck," says an enraged Kim while dramatic music swells in the background, "So I'll do whatever to protect my husband." The gears in Kourtney's brain then churn at an alarming rate, as she offers her take on the whole situation: "I'm so glad that you said the truth." At the end of clip, Kim even suggests that Taylor helped Kanye "rewrite" the lyrics that have gotten him in so much trouble

Ty Dolla $ign Debuts "No Justice" Featuring Big TC

This is the second single off of Ty Dolla $ign's upcoming mixtape "Campaign." Ty Dolla $ign is gearing up to release his next mixtape Campaign. We’ve already heard the title track “Campaign” featuring Future, a prototypical turn up jam. We now have the second premiere from the tape, in the form of three Instagram videos that run consecutively into one another. “No Justice” features Ty Dolla $ign’s big brother Big TC, and is far more sobering than the first single. The video is a simple but powerful mix of up close video of Big TC and Ty Dolla singing (separately, as Big TC is still incarcerated), cut together with footage and images of the many, many people who have had their lives taken by police officers over the past few years.

Rich Homie Quan Apologizes To New York After Forgetting Notorious B.I.G. Lyrics

Quan has sent his apologies to the late Biggie Smalls as well as his city following his flubbed lyrics at the VH1 Hip-Hop Honors. While yesterday's VH1 Hip-Hop Honors was great for the most part (shout-out Teyana Taylor), the main takeaway from the glorious ode to Queen Latifah, Missy Elliott, Lil Kim, and Salt-N-Pepa seems to be the fact that Rich Homie Quan forgot the words to Junior M.A.F.I.A.'s "Get Money" -- specifically, Biggie's verse, which he was meant to be reciting. This certainly isn't the first time something like this has happened -- even at this event (Lupe Fiasco forgot the words to a Tribe Called Quest in 2007). As familiar as it may be, the roasting always follows, and this time there's even a meme to go along with it (#RichHomieKaraoke). Quan has been a good sport throughout it all, releasing a sincere apology on Instagram this evening. You can read his statement, in which he cites nerves and technical difficulties for the flub, as well as apologizes to New York, his fans, Lil Kim, and Biggie himself, below. I assure you that I never intended to disrespect Biggie Smalls. I have long respected his work and his contribution to the rap game.I greatly apologize not only to Biggie Smalls, but also to all of my fans and to New York. The city of New York has been nothing but good to me. I felt honored to stand on stage with artists I grew up listening to.Once on stage I had some technical difficulties and must admit I got nervous.I will forever be sorry to New York, my fans, Biggie Small, Lil Kim, and all the Hip Hop community for my performance. I hope you can accept my apology. To Lil Kim, Thank you for the opportunity. Rich Homie Baby

Dwyane Wade Has Informed The Chicago Bulls He Is Going To Sign With Them

D-Wade is going back to his hometown. After 13 seasons with the Miami Heat, Dwyane Wade is moving on. Wade has informed the Chicago Bulls that he will be signing with them, despite the fact that Miami (and Denver) had more money to offer. Early reports suggest the deal with Chicago is for 2-years, $47 million. In order to pull off this move, the Bulls will need to unload some contracts and they're working to complete deals to trade Jose Calderon and Mike Dunleavy to help clear space for D-Wade. Even at 34 years old, Wade averaged 19 points, 4.6 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game for the Heat last season and now he'll get to play alongside one of the best two-way guards in the game, Jimmy Butler. And Rajon Rondo. The 13-year vet grew up in Chicago but has played his professional entire career in Miami, making 12 All-Star games and winning three NBA titles.

Erykah Badu Offers Response To Kendrick Lamar Romance Rumors

Erykah Badu clears up any misconceptions about her relationship with Kendrick Lamar. Apparently, since Kendrick Lamar dropped the lyric "Um, well cutie, I like your bougie bootie/Come Erykah Badu me/Hell, let’s make a movie," on Kanye West's "No More Parties In L.A." the internets have been abuzz with rumors that this means that K. Dot and the legendary singer are an item. For whatever reason, Badu has just this morning decided to respond to said rumors. There's nothing happening between Badu and Lamar, according to the singer, the rapper is actually quite shy. She starts by saying, "Kendrick aint called me since y'all made up some shit about us being in the trailer makin out so he missed his award." The two have apparently only met once, and that would be at the BET Awards in 2013, which the singer included a photo from in her tweet. She throws in a bit of wisdom in response to a fan: "It's not always betwixxx the thighs .. Sometimes it's between the ears."

Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta Rapper Sas Gets Shot In The Head

Atlanta rapper and LHHATL guest star Sas was shot in the back of the head last night. He is currently in the hospital and appears to be in stable condition. Lyndon Akhil Smith, who raps under the name Sas and was a guest star on Season 5 of "Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta," was shot in the back of the head last night. Luckily, he is expected to survive the bullet wound to his head. Doctors apparently told him that he has a "thick skull." Sas, the son of "Love & Hip-Hop" regular Karen King, has achieved regional hits like "I'm a Dog" in his hometown of Atlanta. He was seen on LHHATL working with veteran producer Stevie J. Earlier today, he posted an Instagram picture of himself in a hospital bed, sitting up against a blood-soaked pillow. "Bullet in the bacc of my head they said Ima be aight tho," he told his followers.

Lil Wayne Responds To Jazz Cartier's "Lil Wayne"

"Lil Wayne" is now Lil Wayne's favorite song. Last night, Toronto's Jazz Cartier dropped off his first single since his excellent February album Hotel Paranoia. He titled the track "Lil Wayne," released as a tribute to the New Orleans rapper. Produced by Cartier's go-to guy, Lantz, it's also a fiery anthem that channels the street-bred adrenaline of peak-era Weezy. Upon hearing "Lil Wayne," one would think that it's quality was such that Tunechi would approve. Indeed -- not only does he approve of the tribute track; it happens to be his "new favorite song." Wayne tweeted his appreciation for the song that's named for him earlier this evening, shouting out both Cartier and Lantz. "I f'n luh dat shit!" he exclaimed. "Preshiate it!!" He described the song as being "Funny as fk but dope."
