Rita Ora Is BeyHive's New Target For "Becky With The Good Hair"
Rita Ora is in the BeyHive's crossfire because of a recent Snapchat.
Moments ago we reported on how Rachel Roy has officially put rumors to rest that she is the Beyonce-referenced "Becky with the good hair." Nonetheless, the BeyHive isn't done finding a new target for "Becky with the good hair," recently settling upon Rita Ora, after the singer posted an incriminating Snapchat.
The Snapchat in question featured a close-up shot of Ora's chest, where she was seen wearing a necklace with what appears to be the initial 'J' on it (see a screenshot of that above). However this isn't the only way Ora is adding fuel to the fire-- adding to the rumors is the fact that a month or two back, Ora was seen stepping out in the exact same outfit Bey rocked in her "Formation" video. Just this morning, the singer shared a movie poster for the movie "Ash Wednesday" on Instagram, a 1973 flick about a woman who attempts to save her flailing marriage.
Shade? The BeyHive seems to think so. After they caught wind of all this, they quickly got into formation and began spamming Ora's Instagram with the necessary bee and lemon emojis.
It should be noted that Ora was signed to Jay Z's Roc Nation, but several months back, in attempt to get released from her contract, she sued the label. The label apparently countersued, although we haven't received an update on the dispute since then, it appears the two parties have since split ways.

The Game, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg & More Respond To Birdman's Breakfast Club Walk-Out
Take a look at how everyone from Snoop Dogg to Pusha T are reacting to Birdman calling out the Breakfast Club.
This morning, Birdman gave us a healthy dose of drama by pulling up and then quickly backing out of his interview with The Breakfast Club, all within the span of two minutes. The Cash Money bawse has made headline after headline when it comes to his lawsuit/beef with Lil Wayne, and beyond that, we've seen several other lawsuits stemming from other unpaid and unhappy artists on his label. Birdman hasn't really spoken much on the controversy that surrounds him, (although he did do an interview with Angie Martinez that revealed absolutely nothing), instead, he continues to sign new artists to Cash Money.
Today he was scheduled to have an interview with The Breakfast Club. They're not shy about discussing controversial topics, so you could bet Charlamagne Tha God was prepared to ask about all of the Birdman/Cash Money rumors, however first, Birdman had to get something off his chest. Put some respek on his name. The tension in the room was visible from the jump, however it seemed as though Baby was going through with the interview when he sat down-- not for long though, as soon as Charlamagne started to question why he insisted on pulling up to a radio show rather than an artist like Rick Ross, who publicly spoke out against how Birdman is handling his business, Birdman was off.

iLoveMakonnen's Departure From OVO Confirmed
iLoveMakonnen is reportedly no longer on OVO.
In news that will surprise approximately no one, iLoveMakonnen's departure from Drake's label OVO has been confirmed. The Red Dragon, as he refers to himself, has been at odds with the label for a minute, expressing doubts in several interviews (including during our recent cover story sit-down, although none of those quotes made the final story). While it's generally been assumed that Makonnen is no longer on the label, there's now no doubt, with a confirmation coming from Billboard.
It should be noted that Makonnen's Drink More Water 6 indicates a release by Warner, but there is no indication of OVO, which is quite standard on other iTunes releases from the label, so that right there is somewhat of a giveaway.
In related Makonnen news, the rapper recently dropped a new record with his personal idol Lil B, "Can't Let It Go," and teased a possible tour with the BasedGod as well.
UPDATE: Makonnen has released an official statement on his departure to XXL. Read it below.
I cannot thank OVO, 40, Oliver, Future & Mr. Morgan, enough for all that they have done for my career. No words can express how much I appreciate Drake for being a part of the success of Tuesday. I’m sure the haters will have something negative to say, but all in all my choice to be solely on Warner Bros Records was the right thing for me and for my best interest. Sorry there’s no beef to report, DRINK MORE WATER.” ILOVEMAKONNEN
Tyler, The Creator's Golf Wang Line Gets Its Own Fashion Show In LA
We fully expect Odd Future to turn the idea of a fashion show on its head.
Rappers are taking the fashion runways by storm. Just last week A$AP Mob members A$AP Bari and A$AP Rocky were representing at their version of a runway show for their VLONE brand. Kanye West’s over-the-top Yeezy shows are impossible to ignore. Tyler, The Creator’s clothing line Golf Wang will be the next up with its own runway show.
Made, the fashion upstart, convinced Moschino to switch its next runway shows for two 2017 collections from London to Made’s new event in Los Angeles, Made LA. The second night of the two day event will feature a runway show for Golf Wang, Tyler, The Creator’s clothing line. When asked to describe the collection, Tyler is effervescent. “I just make whatever clothes I want to wear for the next five months and then run that. I don’t really put deep, intricate though into it–it’s more like a feeling,” the Odd Future leader explained to Vogue over the phone.

Desiigner Vomits Onstage While Performing "Panda"
"I got broads in Atlanta... BLERGHHHH!"
Desiigner was performing "Panda" at The Emporium on Long Island Saturday night when he found himself in something of a pickle. He had to throw up.
The 18-year-old G.O.O.D. Music rapper had just hurled his shirt into the crowd and launched into the chorus of his hit single when all that pre-performance Yak curdling in his stomach decided it wanted to get out, ASAP. He valiantly tried to hold it together but in the end couldn't prevent himself from blowing chunks all over the stage. Fortunately, his hype man kept the energy level high throughout.
Desiigner recovered quickly and continued to get the crowd hyped as if nothing had happened.

YG Is Prepared To Deal With The Consequences Of Releasing "F*ck Donald Trump"
YG wasn't surprised that his video shoot was shut down by police.
Earlier this month, YG and Nipsey Hussle's video shoot for their protest record, "FDT (Fuck Donald Trump)" was shut down police, but according to the rapper, who spoke to Complex at Coachella this weekend, he knew what he was getting himself into with the politically-charged anthem.
"That’s the type of shit that we was gonna have to deal with. We knew that and we dealt with it," he said. “We speaking for a lot of people who are not really speaking up or they got nobody in no situation that’s really gonna put it all on the line for they race [and] they culture. We feel a similar way everybody else feels. We just took it on the chest. Like, ‘Look, This is what we about to do. We gonna speak on it.' Fuck whatever consequences and all of that. We gonna deal with it.”
YG performed the song at the festival on Friday, reuniting him with DJ Mustard, one of his most important collaborators, who he was not on good terms with up until recently.
“This is real hip-hop," he said of "FDT". "This is what this shit is built off of-talking about the culture and what’s going on and putting it out there to make a difference. Let motherfuckers know, we out here.”
Lil Wayne Recalls The Amount Jay Z Offered Him To Sign: "We Laugh About That All The Time"
Wayne equates the number to his two bottom teeth.
Lil Wayne was vocal about his discussions with Jay Z leading up to the release of Tha Carter II in 2005, and while he's never gone into details about the offer, the Young Money rapper decided to tell the story of his conversation with Hov while on DJ Drama's radio show.
Weezy seemed a bit hesitant to go into detail at first, consulting Mack Maine on whether he should do so. “You know it was crazy…since we cool I can tell the story now right? That’s the big homie now,” he said, at which point, both he and Mack Maine burst into laughter.
“You know when I went out there to talk to him about being with Roc-A-Fella, and mind you this was years ago, years ago,” he said of his official meeting with Jigga. “First of all, he was at the 40/40 in the daytime, and when I got up there he was talking, it was Denzel [Washington], it was Derek Jeter. I was like, ‘This is his clique?’ And they up there just laughing at jokes I just don’t get. He literally sat me down next to him, and this where all that’s going on at, and he sat me right here. Like, ‘You ain’t a part of this,’ you know? And he would talk to me on the side after every joke."
Then came the big reveal. “That man offered me 175 [thousand],” he said, obviously amused by the number at this point in his career. “I said, ‘Believe that…’ I was looking like, two teeth in my mouth is 175, like two of them. My bottom teeth. So we laugh about that all the time. We joke about it all the time.”
As far as their relationship now, Wayne is still always looking to Jay for guidance."Still a mentor, I'm still looking up to everything he do," he said. "He still hit me up every other day, trying to tell me what move to make and what move not to make."
Of course, Wayne ended up staying loyal to Birdman and sticking with Cash Money, which has since put him in a difficult situation, but according to him, it's all in the process of being figured out, and we'll be hearing new music soon.

Kanye West’s “I Feel Like Kobe” Shirt Now Available For Purchase
Fans can now cop Kanye West’s special edition Black Mamba shirt that he wore during Kobe’s final game Wednesday night.
Kobe Bryant just played the final game of his remarkable 20-year career at the Staples Center Wednesday night against the Utah Jazz, where he put on a 60 point performance for the fans. Unsurprisingly, the arena was packed with some star-studded artists & celebrities to watch the Black Mamba take the court for the last time, including Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar, David Beckham, Jack Nicholson, Schoolboy Q, The Weeknd, Snoop Dogg, and Kanye West, who caught the attention of the fashion world with a special edition “Black Mamba” shirt that he rocked during the game.
Inspired by The Life Of Pablo merchandise, the Donda-designed shirt has garnered a ton of hype on the internet over the past two days, with many fans wondering how, or if, they could cop the shirt themselves. Luckily for those interested in buying the shirt, Kanye just answered their prayers.
On Friday night, The Life Of Pablo rapper took to twitter to announce that fans can now officially purchase the “I Love Kobe” shirt now on his website for a “reasonable” price of $65 bucks.
Kobe Bryant Refused To Sign Nick Young's Adidas & Threw Them In The Trash
Kobe Bryant is a company man.
Kobe Bryant was definitely in a giving mood all season, blessing other NBA stars like Paul George and LeBron James with their with own signed pairs of Kobe sneakers. With his retirement giving season is over, and not everybody was lucky enough to get a pair. However, it’s unlikely anyone was as unlucky as the Black Mamba’s own teammate Nick Young.
Per Los Angeles Laker’s reporter Mike Trudell, after Kobe’s last game Swaggy P tried to get his legendary teammate to sign a pair of his adidas kicks. Rather than sign a competitor’s shoes, Kobe threw Young’s sneakers in the trash and gave him a pair of signed Nike sneakers. It also looks like Young snagged a signed copy of the scorecard. Maybe Kobe didn’t like it when Nick Young said he left Nike because they don’t pay enough attention to their sub-star players.
We aren’t sure exactly how many sneakers Kobe Bryant signed during his farewell season, but according to ESPN he brought five to seven pairs to each road game. We’re sure Nike isn’t sweating the stock.

Kanye West's "Saint Pablo" (Sort Of) Appears On Apple Music
This might be a glitch on Apple Music, but we aren't complaining.
Even when Kanye West isn’t directly involved, there always seems to be some weird stuff happening with the way the rapper’s music rolls out. We posted a stream to “Saint Pablo” that was subsequently taken down, and the only way it could be found was on Tidal. Until today, when a Reddit user discovered a stream of the song online.
Strangely enough, the song is on Apple Music. Specifically, it’s located on a user’s profile named “Apple Curator.” While Apple Music allows users to upload their own music, they don’t post any of that uploaded music publicly, which makes the presence of “Saint Pablo” pretty surprising. This comes after The Life of Pablo appeared on all streaming services after Kanye infamously declared it would only ever be on Tidal.
The best part is that it’s available for listening even for people without an Apple Music subscription. So if you missed out on one of Kanye West’s doper tracks of the last few years, head over and take a listen. It probably won’t be up for that much longer.

Future & Jay Z To Release Single With DJ Khaled
Watch Kanye West perform new song "I Don't Want To Be Liked" and Drake's "Pop Style" in Manila.
Several videos have appeared from Kanye West's first show of 2016 at the Paradise International Music Festival in the Philippines. Now, more footage from the performance has surfaced, including the debut of a never-before-heard take on "Runaway" titled (on YouTube) "I Don't Want To Be Liked." The song features some auto-tune warbling from Kanye over gospel piano. "I would rather follow God than the media," he sings.
Also of note: a performance of his new collaboration with Drake and Jay Z "Pop Style" that came before Drake debuted a new Throne-less "Pop Style" on OVO Radio. So, perhaps Manila was the first and last time we hear the song from Kanye.

Vic Mensa Lists Features & Producers On Debut Album "Traffic"
Check out the production credits and features (or lack thereof) for Vic Mensa's upcoming debut album "Traffic."
Vic Mensa's debut album, Traffic, has been a long time coming. In fact, it's been over two and half years since his first and only official project, INNANETAPE. Still, Vic seems to be in good hands with Roc Nation, to which he signed a year ago, as most everything he drops is well-received by his extensive and loyal fanbase.
In a recent in-depth feature for CLASH, the Chicago rapper shared some details on what fans can expect to hear on Traffic. Producers on Traffic include Mike Dean, frequent Weeknd collaborator Illangelo, John Hill (who has produced for Eminem, Jay Z, and Rihanna), and Dave Sitek of the band TV on the Radio.
The album is featureless save for some minor contributions from Rivers Cuomo, the lead vocalist of the band Weezer. Vic apparently sampled Weezer's 1996 song "The Good Life" on a yet-to-be-titled Traffic track, and Cuomo ended up inviting Vic to his studio to listen to the song. After doing so, he agreed to lay down some new vocals atop the track.
The Illangelo-produced track is titled "Ring the Bell" and is dedicated to Laquan McDonald and other black men, women, and children who have been killed by police. Vic assisted Mike Dean on the production of "Rage," the album's centerpiece, which is a rock-inspired "expression of raging through it all."
Some might be disappointed in the lack of features, though in reading the CLASH piece, it seems like Vic is putting his all into his debut album. Stay tuned for a release date.
Kanye West Shows Support For Rob Kardashian After Blac Chyna Engagement
Kanye is down to ride for his brother Rob. Blac Chyna...not so much.
"Blac Chyna fuckin' Rob, help him with the weight," rapped Kanye West on "Highlights," poking fun at the surprising relationship between his brother-in-law and the model who has a son with Tyga (who's tryna wife Ye's 18-year-old sister-in-law...it's messy). Not only has Chyna acted as Rob Kardashian's personal trainer, she's now his fiancée, as the couple announced its engagement plans earlier this week.
Kanye recently touched down in LAX, where he was greeted by reporters and asked about his thoughts on Rob and Chyna's hasty engagement. He said he hasn't yet received an invite to the wedding, and when asked about whether "the family" was supporting the new couple, Kanye expressed his love for Rob, whilst perhaps directing a hint of shade at the future Blac Kardashian.
"You know, Rob is my brother. I love Rob...that's all I can say," said Kanye with a smile. Elsewhere in the below video, Kanye continues to show his newfound spirit of openness toward the paparazzi and his overeager fans. He even joined one fan in singing the hook to "Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 2," before stopping to ask, "Oh, what you singing the number one song that was streamed last week?!"
Tyga has already chimed in on the surprise announcement, expressing how he's happy for his ex but concerned about his and Chyna's three-year-old son King, who he doesn't want to see involved in the media headlines surrounding the newly engaged couple. It seems rather hypocritical considering Tyga was the first to jump into the Kardashian family madness, and Chyna clapped back at her baby daddy soon after he stated his apprehension regarding her relationship with Rob. Apparently she believes that Tyga is hell-bent on keeping her out of the Kardashian's inner-circle.

Drake To Host OVO Sound Radio Tomorrow Night
Drake and his OVO partner Oliver El-Khatib will host tomorrow's episode of OVO Sound Radio.
It's Views month, so it was only a matter of time until Drake made an appearance on his label's Beats 1 radio show. Tomorrow night at 6pm EST, the duo known as October Firm, made up of Drake and OVO co-founder Oliver-El Khatib, will host episode 19 of OVO Sound Radio. The show will also include a guest mix from Virgil Abloh, the creator of the fashion company Off-White as well as a close creative consultant of Kanye West's.
The last time October Firm hosted OVO Sound was at the end of January, and to cap off their mix, Drake premiered "Summer Sixteen," the first single off Views from the 6 and proceeded to rinse it back 5 more times to give it the blessing of the lucky number 6. After October Firm, Majid Jordan took over to live premiere their debut self-titled album.
If OVO Sound Radio sticks to its bi-weekly schedule, then Drake will have one more opportunity to host the show this month (on the 23rd). Some have posited that next Saturday (the 16th) would make a good Views release date as the date, written in numerical form -- 4/16, matches Drake's native area code in Toronto. However, Pitchfork recently posted an article in which the site claimed to have insider's knowledge that Views would be arriving closer to the end of the month.
Regardless of when the full album is dropping -- or if it will be premiered on OVO Sound -- it's almost certain that Drake will give fans something (anything!!!) off of Views from the 6 tomorrow night. And that's reason enough to tune in.

Chris Rock Says Andre 3000 Working On New Album, Can't Tell If Joke
Chris Rock may or may not be playing a cruel joke on us.
Is Chris Rock trolling us? The actor took his twitter and Instagram accounts late last night to share a group photo that included Andre 3000, Jarobi, Dave Chapelle, D-Nice and Jack White. That's quite the group by itself, but it was Chris Rock's caption that's got the internet in a tizzy.
The comedian, who is no stranger to a dry joke, captioned the post, "Me , Dave , D-nice , jack white and jarobi hard at work on the new Andre 3000 album." Hmmm. Is he just playing with our emotions? It's really hard to tell, so we'll just embed the post below and leave it at that.
Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
Diddy Passed On Signing DMX Because His Voice Was "Too Rough"
He then offered to double DMX's money after X signed to Def Jam.
During an appearance on the Drink Champs podcast, DMX told hosts N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN about a meeting he had with Diddy at a Yonkers studio in 1997 or 1998 in which Diddy told DMX he was going to sign him to Bad Boy.
"One thing I respect about Puff is he told me too my face what he thought," DMX recalled. "He said, you're voice is too rough, you're not marketable.' So in my mind, what he's saying is, 'work on this.'"
Shortly after the meeting, DMX signed to Def Jam and Diddy had a change of heart. "Maybe two weeks later after he found out I was getting signed by Def Jam, he was like, "Yo, I'll lace your pockets! I'll double what they gave you!" said DMX.
DMX's 1998’s debut album It’s Dark And Hell Is Hot went quadruple platinum
Paul Walker's Daughter Wins $10 Million Settlement From Driver
Paul Walker and Roger Rodas were friends and business partners before their tragic deaths.
With the end of last year’s Furious 7 came the end of Paul Walker’s time on the silver screen, after being killed in a car accident in 2013. The car was being driven by Roger Rodas, a friend of Walker as well as his financial advisor. Apparently that friendship has not continued into the next life, because TMZ has reported that in 2014 Paul Walker’s daughter won a settlement with Rodas’ attorneys for $10.1 million.
The basis for the suit, as explained by the 17-year old Meadow Walker’s attorney Jeff Milam, is that Roger Rodas was partly to blame for the horrific accident. Meadow Walker will get just over $7.2 million, while the lawyer gets just under $3 million. However, the duo aren’t finished with their lawsuits. They plan to sue Porsche next, blaming the actor's death in part on defects in the car that Rodas was driving at the time of the crash.
It may be difficult for Walker and her attorney to win that case, as a few days ago a judge ruled in Porsche’s favor in a nearly identical suit filed by the widow of Roger Rodas. They still plan to move forward with the suit, citing differences in the way Walker died compared to Rodas. It’s always sad when lawsuits follow such tragic deaths.
